Yesterday I went to Apgujeong's rodeo street and its surroundings. This area is really beautiful with its boutiques, cafes, fancy cars, and fancy people.

As for the shopping, I loved it. Although many boutiques are pricey, there are often sales or items so original that the price is worth it. I found a Versace blazer in a vintage shop for 40$!! There were two shops in particular that caught my attention.
1. Boy+ by supermarket
If you've ever wondered where 2ne1 or big bang get their wardrobes, I think I may have found the place. This 2 level store is filled with super stylish items for both men and women made by both their home brand and many others. At first glance, the store seems overwhelming with its crazy colours and patterns but by looking at each piece individually, you realize that most of the items are in fact very wearable. I ended up picking up a pair of platform sandals which I have fallen in love with. (for more pics click here)
2. A.P.C. (and whatever was in the basement and second floor...)
A.P.C. opened their first and only store here in Seoul pretty recently. The main floor is A.P.C. brand while the basement is other women's wear very similar to items found at Boy+ by supermarket. Then by entering a courtyard at the back, there are stairs leading upstairs to other menswear. Here I bought a beautiful Mannequin navy canvas with brown leather backpack for my boyfriend and a beige canvas with brown leather shoulder bag for my dad.
