I had been on the beach maybe 15 minutes reading my book intensely when I heard a man's voice ask "can i get you some coffee?"...He looked like he was hitting 40. grey chest hair. gold chain...do i say more?
I spent the next 5 minutes answering his questions with the shortest answers possible trying to get him to leave... turns out he's been a lifeguard there for 12 years... and that he was off that day...aka he wasn't going anywhere and lay down on the beach chair next to me.
after our 3 hour conversation (mainly him telling me his love life history)
I can briefly tell you that he:
-was married for 4 years to a russian woman but got divorced 6 months ago and has a blonde child with blue eyes.
-once had a great love with this gorgeous spiritual Italian woman who taught him how to make love and how to properly ride a bicycle "like out of a book" (not sure what that means...i thought you just needed to peddle)
-is now looking for a best friend that he can marry
and the conclusion after only 3 hours is: A really
